Data deletion

Option 1: in Facebook

1. Open Facebook and go to Settings and privacy, then Settings.
2. Choose Apps and websites (under Security or Your activity, depending on the version).
3. Find Bidvise and choose Remove.
4. Tick the option to also delete data where Facebook offers it, and confirm.

Facebook then notifies Bidvise automatically. Bidvise deletes the stored access token and the connections authorised by that Facebook user, together with the records of posts sent through them, and shows a confirmation code with a status page. Connections made before 15 September 2026 cannot be matched to a Facebook user automatically; for those, use option 3.

Option 2: in Bidvise

An administrator of the auction house can remove the connection under Marketing, Social media, Connections. This deletes the access token and switches the connection off straight away, so Bidvise can no longer post to the Page. The record of posts already sent stays in the auction house's history; for full deletion, use option 1 or 3.

Option 3: by request

Send a request through the contact page, stating the Facebook Page and the auction house. We confirm the deletion within 30 days.

What is and is not deleted

1. Deleted after option 1 or 3: the access token, the Page connection and the records of posts sent through that connection. After option 2: the access token.
2. Kept: drafts, templates and images of the auction house itself, because they belong to the auction house and not to the Facebook connection.
3. Not deleted by Bidvise: posts that are already published on Facebook. Those can be removed on Facebook itself.
